We are pleased to announce that the Green YOUth Changemakers project has produced a comprehensive set of Policy Recommendations, prepared by young participants from Romania and Bulgaria in cooperation with facilitators and decision-makers.

These recommendations reflect the ideas, concerns, and proposals of young people on how to address climate change and promote sustainability at local, national, and European levels. They cover themes such as:

• Improving recycling systems in schools and communities.
• Expanding green public spaces and promoting sustainable mobility.
• Supporting youth-led environmental initiatives through local funding schemes.
• Strengthening dialogue between young citizens and local or European institutions.

The Policy Recommendations will be presented during local consultations with municipal representatives in Drobeta Turnu Severin and Karlovo, as well as during the study visit in Brussels.

They represent an important outcome of the project, showing that young people can be active contributors to public debate and policy-making when provided with the right tools and platforms.
