On 7 June 2025, the Green YOUth Changemakers project revived one of its most creative initiatives: “The Colourful Forest”, held in Crihala Leisure Park in Drobeta Turnu Severin.

During the event, young volunteers repainted the trunks of trees near the children’s playground with whitewash and natural pigments, refreshing the vibrant colours applied the previous year. The result was a magical landscape where nature and creativity met, transforming the park into a joyful and inspiring space for children and families.

The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, laughter, and community spirit. For the children playing in the park, the colourful trees became symbols of imagination and environmental care.

This initiative proved once again that small artistic actions can make urban spaces more welcoming, playful, and connected to nature.
