On 16 April 2025, Crihala Leisure Park in Drobeta Turnu Severin became greener and more vibrant thanks to the event “Your Tree with an ID Card”.

Organised by Asociația Mod of Life with the support of the Municipality of Drobeta Turnu Severin, the Mehedinți Forestry Directorate – RNP Romsilva, and DJST Mehedinți, the initiative brought together around 100 young volunteers and students.

Together, they planted more than 300 ash tree seedlings, each accompanied by a symbolic “tree ID card” that marked the young volunteers’ commitment to care for their new green friends.

The event created not only a cleaner and healthier environment but also unforgettable moments of teamwork, laughter, and shared stories. To celebrate their effort, participants enjoyed a healthy picnic with fruits and pretzels.

This action proved once again that planting a tree today means ensuring cleaner air and a greener city for tomorrow.
