We are pleased to announce the completion of the #EcoFighters Handbook, developed within the framework of the Green YOUth Changemakers project. The handbook is the result of intensive work carried out by young participants from Romania and Bulgaria, supported by facilitators and partner organisations.

The publication serves as a practical guide for teachers, youth workers, NGOs, and community leaders who wish to engage young people in meaningful environmental action. It contains:

• Non-formal education methods addressing climate change, sustainability, and the circular economy.
• Detailed guidelines for organising eco-workshops and awareness-raising campaigns.
• Good practices and case studies collected from local initiatives in Romania and Bulgaria.
• Practical tools for conducting plogging activities, recycling workshops, and consultations with decision-makers.
• Testimonies and reflections from the young #EcoFighters involved in the project.

The handbook is available in English. It is distributed in digital format to ensure accessibility and sustainability, and it can be freely downloaded and used by stakeholders across Europe.

The Green YOUth Changemakers project, co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme, aims to empower young people as active citizens and advocates for a sustainable future. The #EcoFighters Handbook represents one of its key intellectual outputs and a lasting resource for the wider community.
